I’m currently experiencing issues when screening frame packed 3D from a Blu-Ray source (Oppo BDP-93) using a Doremi IMS1000/Barco DP2K 19-B/X-PAND set up. The issue is bad 3D synchronization between the two eyes as well as a thin horizontal refresh line slowly rolling thru the left eye frame.

This issue has been present with two IMS1000 units that have been installed consecutively. I have also tested one of the unit with a different projector (Christie CP2220) and noticed the same issue.

I have been in touch with Dolby but so far their recommendations have been inconclusive. From the information they have given me, the only Blu-Ray player officially approved by Doremi is the Sony BDP-BX110, which is not a 3D capable device.

Has anyone gotten satisfactory results using the IMS1000 to scale frame packed HDMI signals?

Thanks!

I've seen that before.

Suffice to say that if you check the NEC manual for the same NEC-branded device, 3D on HDMI is NOT mentioned.

Either Japan missed that feature or... [Wink]
