Has anyone made a DCP test file that will do a sweep test on each audio channel? Once upon a time we had Dolby's Jiffy test that would do a decent job of showing up speaker problems as well as rattles but I don't think such a thing has been properly ported over to DCP yet.

Dolby has 7.1 sweeps for each channel on their site.

Edit:

To be clear 1 DCP that runs swweps through all channels one at a time. Can be used for 5.1 you just don't get sound on the back surrounds.

I use the "trick-17" test dcp but I don't know where one can find it now. the site I used, free-dcp.net I think, has gone dark.

There is a DCP of good old Jiffy knocking about, I don't think it's "official".

It doesn't have any picture tests, purely audio. IIRC the wow and flutter section is omitted understandably.

Dolby had both 7.1 AND 5.1 sweep DCP's on their site last time I looked.

GDC servers come with audio test clips on every server. One is just channel ID using pink noise though.

Yup, found the Dolby sweep tests...never noticed them before.

Wow Mark, GDC does? Dolby does too! Both ID and PN as well as 1.85 and 2.39 image sizes. [Roll Eyes]
