Hi

The other night I was screening "Eye in the Sky". The ads and trailers ran fine, however just as the main feature started I noticed a white flash, towards the bottom of the screen, which lasted for about a split second.

This then repeated every 15-20 minutes, on average. At one time the white flash filled half the screen, however they predominantly were at the bottom of the picture. Each one lasted about a split second (the audience didn't even notice them!)

I noted the times of the flashes, however when I re-ran the film at those times afterwards the flashes didn't appear. Further more, subsequent screenings of this film and others have been fine.

Has anyone experienced this before?

I'm using a Christie CP2000-S with Doremi DCP2000.

Thanks

Check your smpte errors. That can be caused by them. Check HDSDI cables.
