I've always used OpenDCP as (I thought) it would give me more control (I make my own clips exporting individual frames and WAV). Then I gave DCP-O-Matic a go, not only did it accept my assets but also compressed the whole lot in 3 minutes vs. 20 minutes taken by OpenDCP! That was similar to 2.7.1 I think. Lot's of other improvements and bug fixes. There have been a lot of ergonomic enhancements added in recent versions that are not immediately visible, that is, not every program feature has a button somewhere. Note Tooltips, right-click, etc. Check out the manual, and try things you would expect/hope to show a reaction (e.g. click on frame number/time code below preview window). - Carsten  |  IP: Logged
