Hi all,

I have a NEC1600C-A that when the projectionist turn it on during the open it erased all the ip's, bulb's info. Would this be a bad card or something that I can clear directly in the projector?

Thanks!

I am not THAT familiar with the 1600 but which ever card stores those settings may have failed. I had this happen in a brand new NC-1200 once. I powered it up the very first time and the IP was 0.0.0.0! In that case the CPU card was defective. You could not connect or do anything on this projector.

I've had this exact issue happen twice on the same 1600. IP was default (whatever the default 192 address is; it wasn't zeroed out as Mark experienced) and all other settings lost. I'm going on memory here since it's been a while, but I believe after the second occurrence we replaced the CPU card. Haven't had any issues since.
