I know this was asked 6 months back, but a lot can happen in that time! Like many other UK venues, we've now been offered a free installation of Lansat. Seen favourable comments about DCP delivery (any negatives?) but keen to hear how they perform on live satellite shows which are our bugbear at the moment. Also KDM availability - we frequently have to chase distributors who deny knowledge of our booking, until we forward their confirmation emails.

We've had one for about 18 months and it's brilliant. Only had a problem once with a live show which is when it froze for 5 seconds and then when it came back on the picture and sound were out of sync for a couple of minutes before it sorted itself out.

With regards to KDMs - it's very handy that when they are sent they just get to your servers automatically, but I can't imagine it would help with your problem as this sounds like the distributor isn't putting the request through and the way it is getting to you isn't the issue.

Very good, content delivery works very well. Very good for satellite transmissions. Tuning is simple, but you can choose to pay for a managed service where they will do it for you.

Currently very reliable, we even stream it round the building to multiple screens over Cat 5 and it remains robust. Support is also very good, you can call them with any problems and they will sort it out quickly. (If they can.)

It also records reliably. You can also set it up from anywhere over a browser.

Only niggle is the lack of a real time monitor or output for same, it captures a frame every few seconds.

We have issues with the lansatīs HDMI not outputting until someone from lansat support connects to reset the video settings.
