Having looked back through some other threads here, am I correct in thinking that in order to play a ProRes 4444 file through the Barco DP2K-15C digital projector, I will need a piece of equipment like the AJA Ki Pro mini? The file will be played from the latest MacBook Pro. Would there be any cheaper solution to achieving this?

Thank you for your help.

Jonathan.

All you need is a Thunderbolt-DVI cable for the MacBook Pro. Goes for as little as 10US$.

Another possible option is to convert the ProRes File to a DCP using free software as DCP-o-matic.
