I`m thinking For a spare at the drive in right now i have DSS200 W/ A NEC 2500S Projector the price is $1000.00 i know there obsolete, but what about the internal clock end date.i have 1 at an indoor in foley ,mn running fine for over a year.what does every body think?or wait till a used dss200 or a doremi 2k4 come on the market.

You would not be the first to have a DSS100/DSP100 around for being a spare. I'd say it isn't a bad investment. Note, that software for it is done...the latest is 4.7.3.3 but you should be able to run most anything with that.

With the end of the line coming for the DSS200 in the middle of next year, perhaps there will be some that start to become available so there is validity there too.
