Doremi software from 2.6x on have options for advanced show control like intermission, segments, etc. There is a GOTO, but I have never tried to actually skip a part of a CPL.

It may be possible using markers. Maybe not elegant, but then it was never meant to be possible at all to skip parts of a CPL. Among other things, that's what signing and encryption is for.
