Author Topic: How Many Fans to Put on a Digital Show? Steve Kraus Film God Posts: 4094 From: Chicago, IL, USA Registered: May 2000 posted 10-26-2014 02:07 PM                    Digital could not happen without the loyal support of its many fans. How many fans are in an NEC NC1200C? I think there are 10 but maybe those are only the ones that are tracked. Are there more? I amuse myself by silly things like adding up how many fans it takes to put on a digital performance. With the recent notice of an 8th fan in the DSS-200 I think my count is up to 33 (plus one more seasonally within the rooftop A/C condenser). That includes three in the PC which I justify including as it's used for bookings, keys, and setup software. I've figured recently about hard drives in this building... This building just turned 10 years old. Just a baby yet. We opened with 12 functioning hard drives. The projector and exhaust fan, one in each amp, then there is the popcorn machine, computers, HVAC, and the vacuum cleaner. I don't even remember the total. About a dozen more have been added since digital came in!
