In the Black MOS DCP: insert a douser cue to open douser at a scheduled time.

Change your show templates to include 3 minutes of black before the show and place a dowser cue at the front of the black. Your TMS software may have an option to program the schedule so it starts at a point prior to the beginning of the play list. For example, ours is programmed so it starts with the trailers. So when we program the show for 7:00pm, it automatically schedules the play list to start the ads at 6:40pm so the trailers hit the screen at 7:00pm.

When we first went digital, we used a Popcorn Hour box (media tank) via HDMI to run our pre-show. We basically had to program dummy shows which would turn on the lamp, switch formats, open the dowser, and so forth.
