Hi all,

I am having a trouble with jnior 312 and doremi dcp 2k4 server. Simply told jnior doesn't accept any command sent from server but via web interface works fine. Does it need some additional settings to be applied or it will work out-of-the-box?

You know the documentation from the original manufacturers site?

yep... it looks that doremi won't register jnior for some reason. Any idea why?

make sure you set the device with the proper port and then use the JNIOR commands from the Doremi library. It should work

Device is powered up with default port 9200. Only IP address was changed (everything rest is on default) to accommodate IP schema in my booth (server 172.20.21.11 / jnior 172.20.21.61). Ping goes thru but jnior doesn't react to any given command.

Server is not registering jnior (tail /doremi/log/drmjniord.log executed with su privileges are not showing jnior registerd)

Make sure the cinema package software is loaded on the Jnior. It's called Cinema.JNIOR

already done but no success... i am baffled at this point

Steps i have tried:

1. web interface operation (java applet) - works
2. support tool operation - works
3. telnet commands from windows machine - works
4. Ethernet commands from doremi - not work
5. server (doremi) restart - doesn't help to this matter

....

Can you try a different device on the same server, or the same device on a different server? But looks as if this is more a Doremi problem.

You don't need the cinema package for normal basic automation where the server asks for output closures and listens for inputs. It does a lot of complex things that most installations don't require.
I would reload the server software on the possibility that something is corrupt but wouldn't really expect it to fix this...
Does the ipconfig reply match your network exactly for netmask and gateway? Is the jnior on the projection network for sure, not on the other server port?

are you using the commands from the doremi library?
Can you post a section of your Macros.xml?

Hi all,

I ahve solved this with several restarts of the servers. Apparently jnior wasn't registered at doremi and that was initial problem. But now i have another problem. 6 jnior's 312 with cinema package (let's say cloned setting) act in different ways when it comes to macro executing (jnior cinema macro). one works fine while other 5 are now. Basically i need 2 commands (macros) to be executed by jnior.

here is a list:
1. when DIN1 is on close REL2
2. when DIN2 is ON then Close REL3 & open all other relays

Like i said this works like a charm on one jnior but on the other 5 it won't work (i have tried to duplicate jnior, set it up manually, trigger inputs locally, etc.).

Any idea how to solve it?
