We are trying to chase down an issue where a customer reports VI audio coming from a surround speaker. They are saying it is ONLY for this movie. Has anyone else seen an issue with this? I suspect the movie is fine, but thought I'd check.

Thanks!

Harold

I played that movie a while back with no issues. I have a JSD100 processor and a 5.1 setup.

I, too, have played that title without issue on GDCs with CP750 or CP650 processors and IRC-28C emitters. Sounds like a server channel mapping issue as Edge of Tomorrow has 16 channels of audio while most other titles are encoded with less.

I have had this happen twice with a GDC 2000AR server feeding a JSD-60. Two different films too. I just go into the audio mapping of the GDC and turn those channels off, 7&8. My instance of this was at drive in and narration came through left channel (may have been left surround though), on another movie it came through right channel (probably Right Surround).
