Hi all,

Can someone help me and show me (or give me) SNMP MIB's for next cinema equipment:
1. Dolby CP650/CP750/CP850
2. DataSat AP20
3. Dolby DSS100/DSS200
4. Christie Series-1 Projectors

I am playing around with SNMP monitoring across my cinemas but i can not monitor all devices (except Doremi's, Christe Series-2 and Barco Series-2).

Any help would be appreciated.

I have zero experience with SNMP, but the AP20 documentation and GUI has passages on SNMP. Don't know if there is a difference between just SNMP logging or real-time monitoring.

Depends on time basis you are polling devices across network [Smile]
SNMP logging can become near real-time logging. But for now i need to poll devices every let's say few minutes to have some picture what is happening in cinemas for which i am responsible and not to wait for cinema operator to call me and tell me that temperature at FPGA is rising (he will not see it before alarm rises)

Dolby's MIBs are dowloadable from their support site for those that have access to their server software. So whomever supports your site can get that for you. Barco's MIBs are always downloadable from their WEB GUI built into each projector.

I don't believe the CP650...which barely supports Ethernet has SNMP support and I don't know about the other Dolby products.

Hey, I have question related to this thread:
What software (preferably free) can i use for SNMP monitoring ?
Or is it much more difficult than I think? I have just introduced myself to all this SNMP thingie, so I'm pretty raw at this.
What I want is to get info from Barcos about certain events, errors, warnings, etc.

Thanks,
Nerijus

This should not be a problem at all... There are OpenSource SNMP servers/solutions which you can use for this... One example is Zabbix but all of those solutions is a subject to trials and errors until you find one which suits your needs. IMHO you can check on Wiki for OpenSource SNMP solutions and try different ones until you hit [Smile]
That was a rocky road i have taken [Smile]
