Author Topic: Poorly documented Doremi macro actions Christian Hove Film Handler Posts: 41 From: Aalborg, Aalborg, Denmark Registered: Jan 2012 posted 03-17-2014 07:38 AM                     I have encountered two built-in macro actions on our Doremi DCP-2K4's that I have not succeeded getting anything useful from. The two actions are: - Macro Control => Purge Pending Macro - Playback => Playback Actions => Skip to ShowPlaylist Pack Both of these actions are poorly described in the manual. I have tried to use the actions in different scenarios, but to me it seems that they do nothing but generating errors in /doremi/log/drmplaylistd.log such as: [Mon Mar 17 10:11:09 2014]: [PLAYER]: Executing macro "SkipToChr" [Mon Mar 17 10:11:09 2014]: [PLAYER]: Macro "SkipToChr" executed with status: PlaybackElementStatusExecutionFailed and [Mon Mar 17 09:40:45 2014]: [127.0.0.1]: Received `ExecuteMacroCue("PURGE_PENDING_MACROS")' command: PlaybackElementStatusExecutionFailed. For example if you have a macro running that has a fairly long delay built into it, you can make a trigger that contains the Purge Pending Macro action that will exit out of that long delay and continue the playlist.  |  IP: Logged
