Well Christie wasted no time in making a change for the new year. The CP2210 is no more (but will be supported for at least 10 years from now..which is not hard to believe because...).

The new CP2215 has been introduced. The unit looks and acts like the CP2210 but now will accept a larger lamp, 2.3KW...pushing its top luminance range up to potentially 15,000 lumens. It is still based on a .98" chip set and uses the same lenses as the CP2210.

Check out the weight. The power supply has added considerably to the weight in "English" measure. Fortunately if you live in a metric country it isn't too bad.

That weight difference might be due to the English "pound" sterling and the exchange rate rather than the lb pound.... just a thought! Yes it is a fair difference! I think we should all opt for the metric version, just in case our floors can not take it!

It looks like they fixed the weight error already. For those that missed it...the English measure had it over 12,000 lbs!
