I know somone who wants to swap audio processors between two auditoriums.
(Both 'digital cinema' only) One proc is a CP-650 & the other a CP-750

Aside from having to re-program the automation commands to work with the
swapped processors, (and re-eq the room, etc) my question is:

>Wouldn't the auditoriums have to be 're registered' (or whatever you call it)
with whoever distributes the KDM's in order to work in their new locations? <

or not....?

No. The keys are tied to the projector, server and Media block.

The audio processor, except for the CP850, which doesn't apply in this case, is NOT part of the "Trusted Device List" so it doesn't matter what you do with the sound. Keys are not tied to them.

Change it all you want. As you say, you'll have to put in the different tuning and likely Ethernet configuration (depending on your automation/server system).
