Every week when I delete features that have played for the last time. I always get a message "cannot delete selected KDM" on at least one of 4 movies. We usually play 4 different movies a week.

After about an hour when I try again it will delete it without any problem.
Anyone else seen this occur?
A Doremi tech told me over the phone that this is impossible.

As long as the film is ejected ( no longer loaded ) and the IMB is powered on you should be able to delete any or all kdm's.

It's possible this has happened while the movie was sitting in the editors (element box)but with a different playlist playing on screen. Have to check that...

If the content is in use by the server, eject it then only delete will be possible.

Sometimes in schedule after the playback the content is still loaded so i switch to manual, eject then delete

Also if using a TMS ensure the content is not locked, like in Doremi TMS at the Playlist Editor there is a lock function, if it is checked for that content you wont be able to delete it until its unlocked.
