Hi

I have a question for those of you familiar with Kinoton Projectors. Will the Barco coolant replacement kit work on a Kinoton? Are the cooling circuits designed in the same way and using the same connectors (both series 1 and 2)?

Thanks for your help
Marco

To my knowledge, Kinoton does not change anything about the light engine.

It does make sense to me,it would be expensive to change their design just for Kinoton.

The only oddball DLP coolant I've found is NEC's red stuff that is "permanent". Christie and Barco coolant are identical. If the coolant has scheduled replacement intervals I would use Barco or Christie coolant - especially if Kinoton's is blue. That blue coolant comes from Texas so I suspect it is recommended by TI.
