Does anyone here have any experience and/or info/opinions on Sonic Tier Audio? It appears to be an international (S. Korea) competitor to Dolby ATMOS and Barco Auro. It apparently can feature a staggering 15 stage channels L, Lc, C, Rc, R at 3 different heights. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

First of all, the main difference between Atmos and Auro 3D is that Atmos uses an object based audio format and Auro 3D just a pimped discrete-channel audio system.

I've Googled a bit about this Sonic Tier Audio, but the information readily available is quite minimal.

Even then, it will be pretty useless in production without content and I don't see Dolby or Barco opening up their proprietary sound formats anytime soon.
