Here's an example that doesn't seem to be covered in any of the DCP naming
document appendixes-

I do a lot of press screeings, sometimes many months before a film's actual release date.
(I saw "Man Of Steel" so long ago it's already an "old movie" to me!)

The press versions are usually labeled like this:
 -
(This example is from a recent "The World Ends" press screenng)

On a somewhat releated topic- some of these press screenings are so far in
advance of the actual release date that the "standard" DCP drives haven't been
duplicated yet, and the DCPs arrive on mini USB 3.0 hard drives like this:

Hmm, interesting the naming convention states an audio type 10 - center channel mono - I thought an odd number of audio tracks was not allowed/supported in DCPs?

Thanks Harold.

Is the old chart still available? It will take a little while to put the new one in place and it does not make sense to train people only on the new one right now.

Thanks

They always published it as a bitmap as well, so Googles picture search shows a lot of older versions. Interesting to watch it developing (and being ignored ;-)
