Suddenly Thursday or Friday our Coming Soon and Feature Attraction Transitions on 3D are all messed up. Both those that we create and those that are professionally produced are squished down. I have tried recompiling them ... changing the aspect ratio ... deleting all the transitions and re-installing and still on 3D the stuff is screwed up totally. Real says it is our DCP's that are wrong but once made and purchased that worked till Thursday are just as F'd up as the others.

What is your complete DCP system? That is, what player, projector and IMB (presuming you have an IMB).

This sounds like an IMB system where the IMB is not in 3D mode and the projector is or vice versa.

It is 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999% not the content or Real-D's issue.

previews that are not 3D play fine, previews that are 3d play fine and the movie plays fine. In fact everything is fine except the policy statements. If it was an issue with an imb not being in the right mode it would be that one projector not both that are 3D wouldn't it?

How would it know it is a "policy"? Yes, it is in the title but they are not treated differently.

Did any of the software change on Thurs/Fri? It might be that the policy trailer DCPs were messed up all along but the previous software played it back ok despite the problematic DCP.

I can't tell if you're stating it was a problem with the playlist or asking if it would be.

It was in issue in that playlist. When I created a new playlist and ran the policy trailers they ran fine and are running fine.
So we deleted the old playlist.

Steve as far as I know it wouldn't know the difference as long as they were DCP it should treat them the same. But policy was what was screwed up nothing else. It didn't matter if we compiled them or had paid for them. A new play list has fixed it all.
