How can I set the digital sub level on Ultra Stereo JS 200 processors? You can't just go to the digital format and set it +10DB like Dolby. Is there a channel pink noise file for DCP?

The SUB Level is on the format card **when setting be sure to turn on Right Center Left at the same time on pink noise generator(if setting up for film) or your level may overdrive speaker. The manual for this sound system is on this Film-Tech website Click "Warehouse"then "manuals" then "Sound Equipment"go to Ultra Stereo JS-200 cinema processor
see page # 9 (may be page 11)

Thanks Phil. I know how to set it in the processor. That is only for optical sub though. How do I get a signal for digital sub level?

Thanks guys but unless I'm missing something in the manual, it doesn't help in my situation. I don't have a DTS hooked up to the Ultra Stereo to get the digital sub level. Normally you run the set up disk that sends pink noise out and you set levels. Is there a DCP file that does the same?

USL does make a test generator that will put pink noise out on the subwoofer channel...but honestly any pink noise generator will do...just reference off of Center channel for what the relative level is...sub should come 10dB louder in the pass band on the output of the processor.
