Hi folks, I'm actually quite new to digital cinema industry. Hence, I would like to explore and improve my skills with this industry. Currently I am about to know more about barco projector especially those problems it always faces and how to settle those down. Any suggestions on which links or books which I could possibly browse and read on to enhance my skills? Cheers!

The best overview I know is Torkell Sætervadet's FIAF Digital Projection Guide. Published Q4 2012. Torkell is the author of the well-known Advanced Projection Manual.

It covers all related aspects, has enough amount of detail and is recent enough to be useful for beginners as well as insiders.

FNCF CST guide to digital cinema

DCI 1.2 with errata

These should be standard reading I think.

Then try digesting everything on this forum. Then if you are french/german/russian/italian savvy, try their regional forums, lots of good stuff there also.

And the verywellnamed www.digitalcinemanamingconvention.com

Other than those, some to check out (in english):
www.dcinematoday.com
www.manice.net
www.digitalcinemasociety.org
...

Feel free to add more www links.
