Bajsic Bojan Expert Film Handler Posts: 190 From: Ljubljana, Si, Eu Registered: Aug 2008 posted 09-04-2012 06:15 AM                     Hello does anybody have any info on the new Sony closed captioning glasses? Used them? Do they really act as 3D glasses also? No info of pricing for these on the internet but i suspect it would be futile to have 300 pairs of these for a single screen? Also, in 2010 USL announced their glasses, but i haven't seen anything tangible anywhere on the net for that. Subs were clearly visible even under bright lighting. They are not stand-alone 3D glasses, but they will be able to work with Real D and other circular polarized systems by sticking proprietary add-on film on top of the lenses.
