Can the DMA8 be programmed to wake up in digital mode?

Download the DMA8 manual in the Warehouse and check out Section 3.2.2 (page 24 of the pdf file). You can select the priority of the inputs so that it would look at whichever input you want first....that would get very close to what you want.

I understood that part of the book, but will it switch from film to digital when it senses a digital signal?

In my experience it need to be cued via a GPIO

Greetings All!

Just set it to wake up in the mode you want? Connnect to the beast, click on change settings, and in the bottom right is a tab saying startup input mode. Choose your option there. It's not difficult!
