Hi.

One of our DS200 players stopped working tonight.

It started with the projector displayed wrong colours when switching to 3D.
This have happened before, and a restart of the DS200 cured the issue.

But not this time.

Now the DS200 says "Error connecting to cat 862", and nothing works.

--------
Projector NEC NC2000C
3D Xpand.

Movie: Ice Age 4 - sold out !!!

Out of curiosity...why post that here like someone is going to magically fix your Cat 862? Why not go to Dolby Tech Support for your area and actually get it fixed? Did you report the initial problem when it first happened?

OK.
We have tried our contact at our service-company. All are on vacation currently.
We have left a message on the phone, hoping some one call back soon.

Probably take a week or two.

I tried to see if anyone had got the same before.

Again...find the Dolby Tech-Support site for your region (phone or email) they are going to be MUCH faster than a couple of weeks and are more likely to resolve your problem...which may very well be your Cat 862...that none of us here can fix or aid you in.

Try rebooting both the projector AND server at the same time, not just the server. Power both completely down. Wait 15 seconds. Power both back up. Give it ample time to reconnect and see what happens.

Everything was shut down over the night and restarted the next day (to day) - still got the error.

We got contact with Dolby (GB) this afternoon and send them the log files.
Still waiting for a response.
