I have one NEC IS8-2K projector, but don't have bulb.Is anybody can answer my questions, pls?
1, what's the model of the bulb? where can I buy it?
2, Beside the buble, is the PCB missing on lamphouse? Where can I get it? Is there a need to change the PCB every time when I change the bulb?
If you have this projector, can help us take photo of the PCB which I don't have, pls? My email adress is -

You can only obtain the lamp from an authorized NEC reseller. It is an OEM lamp made by Ushio exclusively for the NC800/IS8. NEC only sells them in lots of 4. Some NEC dealers will buy the lot of four and then sell them individually at a premium (they are an expensive lamp).

The PCB is required as it contains the lamp data (each lamphouse can have its own lamp and the lamphouse keeps track of the lamp data). Again, that can be obtained from an NEC reseller as a service part. I'm surprised that the you would have a lamphouse without the board.
