I'm having a problem while ingesting a independent movie. It starts fine and when it gets to 98% it stops and said "unexpected error occurred". I tried the same disk in Dolby and GDC servers and everything is fine. The hard drive needs a specific format for Doremi servers? Right now is NFTS. Thanks

It needs to stay in NTFS and the drives are in a RAID configuration for both Doremi servers.

Which unit do you have - the DCP-2000, or the DCP-2K4 unit with the CRU bay?

If it's the 2K4, redo the injest with the USB cable, for if you have the 2000, sounds like the power supply that runs the feature HD lost power somehow and the injest failed, or connection was broke between HD and server.

But, beforehand, make sure that you have enough HD space on either server to complete the injest.

Good luck - Monte

Thanks Monte. The projectionist try again after the error and it downloaded fine. We are waiting to do a test and see if everything is OK. Thanks.

If it's having trouble ingesting just give it one of those pink stomach pills. Then it'll feel better about the situation [Razz] .

Menu/Doremi apps/Diagnostic tool/storage/analyze/disk cleanup

Check all boxes to get rid of the orphan assets and click continue.

Re-ingest.

I've dealt with several problems like that, usually it's the USB cable or docker. These get the crap beat out of them.
Using the cable or docker from another drive usually solves the problem. If the drive ingests OK on another server, look for problems at the server. The front USB jack on Doremi DCP2000 servers gets a lot of use and wears out: using a USB hub is a really good idea - when the hub connectors all get worn out you replace the $10.00 hub instead of needing a Doremi kit and to open the server to install it.
I've only seen one CRU problem (other than the incompatibility between some Doremi TMS servers and the multiplexed SATA on the dual CRU rack units) and that was a bad SATA cable in the DCP4K server.

or, get an USB cable and plug it in the back of the 2000, and run the cable out to the front so all that is exposed is the smaller jack to plug in the PS base of the HD assembly and use it for your injesting and leave the front jack alone for KDM injests....what we were doing until we went LS/TMS ..
