Hi
We have a client with a nearly new DP2k-20C with a tamper cover error that we cant clear. We've isolated the switches so which then plug into the backplane which we have been advised to change. The backplane appears passive and whilst we await this we are curious if anyone has had this before and if so what was the fault.. Client is off screen.
Cheers

I've dealt with this problem before.

You should do the "free up disk space" patch and see if that fixes it. This is what I've been told to do by BARCO to fix the problem, although it did not work.

I had to replace the ICP board both times I've dealt with this problem!

Possibly a security switch has failed. These are NC microswitches held open by the cover: they close when the secure area cover is open. Unplug them from the motherboard and the system thinks the cover is on. Plugging them back in under the fan is a challenge but you can just leave them unconnected. To reconnect them, removing the fan helps a lot.
