I am hoping someone could help me out. Rango was scheduled to start at 2:20pm and right as it was supposed to start, a message popped up saying "Rango_FTR.... needs one or mor KDM to play" So I went to the editor, selected Rango, and clicked properties. The KDM was green and valid until April 1st. As a precaution I re-ingested the key then hit play. Same message. I then tried to eject that playlist and try one with just trailers on it so a key would not be necessary. Then popped up an "unknown error (0x080000001) So I then tried rebooting the server. After it was back up and running, I tried that trailer playlist again with the same error. I opened up the status of the server, and it looked like everything was running properly. Dick space is at 33% so I don't think there are any issues there. Any Ideas on what is happening or any suggestions on where to look?

Probably Doremi tech support is your best bet.
They will want a diags package and take a while to come up with an answer I suppose, but nobody here is going to know what your server is doing.
The only thing I can suggest is to delete the content, do a disk cleanup, and re-ingest. That is not a really fast fix and won't fix a hardware or software problem with the server.

Doremi support told me they would get back to me. I went ahead and wiped everything on the disk, like you said, and now it's up and running again. I'm hoping Doremi gets back to me with, at least, possible causes to what happened. [Confused]

It's probably that dick space. You should be able to fit the whole thing in there and wiggle it around a bit. 33% still leaves 2/3's of your dick outside the server.

Sorry, couldn't resist. [Smile]

Hi Chase,

To help avoid future issues like yours, I have 24/7 monitoring of my system with the installers. Do you have this available ?

Cheers,

David.

It's good that you got back up online .... but,

....looks like not all of the KDM's were installed, or one section of a KDM got corrupted.

I'd do a wipe of the thumbdrive and reinstall the unzipped .XML files on that thumbdrive and reinjest that thumbdrive.

Another thing is that one can accidently pull the thumbdrive and not pay attention to the injest manager status being that the asset might be at 100%, but the completion didn't get the full 100% completed injest (since there are about 12 keys that have to be injested before completion), in which that will prob cause the error on the screen of one KDM missing.
