Looking into setting up a 2-projector 3D booth, with 2 DC projectors using a single dolby server, programming left image out of one and right image out of the other. Are Dolby servers conducive to this. Will this setup work? I may avoid having to use REAL-D proprietary equipment in this arrangement. I hear that there are very few 2-DC Projection setups like this in the country (and I can understand, given the costs of a DC projector). [Frown]

Dolby servers can indeed support 2-projectors.

Master Image makes passive polarized filters with frames and hardware to attach to the projectors or the front wall as needed.

We had a short discussion on dual projector dolby setups a while ago here (around the AVATAR release). I know of two screens in germany with such a setup. It's officially supported by Dolby. They supply a set of special color-wheels (not split, but one right, one left eye wheel).

Someone mentioned that there is reference to this setup scheme on Dolbys digital cinema partner pages.
