Has anyone used Grainger's customizable electrostatic washable filters in place of the Christie filter? 9.5" x 11" Custom Electrostatic Filter.

Keep in mind when looking for alternates that the majority of all DLP air filters are the Heppa type... They tend to be more expensive because of their quality and ability to trap microscopic particles. If it's cheaper and it's from Grainger it's probably not the correct substitute... Grainger is typically more expensive on equivelent substitutes...

So you are going to risk a $50K projector over a $60 filter? Doesn't make sense to me.

I only ask out of curiosity. Didn't know that it is a hepa type filter. Though, I did hear that there is rumor that Christie is looking at offering a reusable filter.
