I've seen on this error on a CP2000ZX and NEC 1600 before on different venues which prevented the show being played. Anyone can shed light on the error ?

Yes, You get the same error when the Light Engine isn't talking to the projector control so I suspect it's something to do with that. Double check the IP address settings to be sure they are correct. On a CP-2000 SB or ZX if you change the projector IP first you loose all control with the light engine and get that very error and you can't even correct your IP error through the projector software no matter what... you have to log onto the TI boards via the serial port and use the TI software to correct the IP error. If this isn't your problem you could still log onto the TI boards and download the errors and send them to Christie or Ballanswine for evaluation...

Hope this helps.
Mark
