Would anyone know when the new Dolby DSS/DSP will arrive, the cost, and what advantages it has over the existing products,

Cheers,

David Stone.

A prototype was shown at a dealer meeting during Showest. No definite date, but perhaps Fall 2009 was my impression.

I know for sure that the DSS will take and recognize much larger drives than it is capable of now. I believe the max now is 370 gig per drive so three times 370 is the max it's RAID 5 can do. The boards like the RAID 5 are now actually quite dated so an update is definitely due... Either way it's still my server of choice. Even computer illiterates can use the thing!!!

Brad... Perhaps you did get through to them.....

Mark
