I know that the new 1.2" models from Christie are capable of showing full 2K 3D images, but does anyone know the maximum resolution of running 3D on older units? Is there a set limit, or do you have to specifically test each chip individually?

I'm looking for both Flat & Scope.
Thanks

Not sure right now, but I think they were 1920 x 804 and 1628 x 880 for non-tripleflash (I.e. not "Brilliant3D") TI projectors.

Due to the transport system, color resolution was also further halved (4:2:2 instead of 4:4:4) and number of colors reduced by to 1/4 (10 bits instead of 12 bits). This continues to be the case in most 3D (i.e. not Sony or not dual-projection) systems.
