I know I brought up a similiar question in the 'Adventures of Tintin' thread, but folk are saying that the aspect ratio of the latest 'Underworld' movie is full screen 1.78 for IMAX-Digital no black bars below and above the image - is this an IMAX only feature, or are the other speciality screens also projecting the movie as such (ETX, XD, RPX, etc.,) the film in REAL-D and 35mm is in it's alternate aspect ratio of 2.35

This doesn't really belong in the Large Format forum as Underworld awakening is only available in digital IMAX not 1570 film.
