Title sez it all. Is Avitar in 15/70 IMAX or only Digital IMAX lite? If it is being shown in 15/70, are all 15/70 locations showing it in that format, or if not, is there a list somewhere online as too which locations are showing which format. I have no interest in seeing it in Digital IMAX lite.

Actually, what I am trying to find out, is Avitar in 15/70 at the IMAX theatre in the Palisades Mall in West Nyack, NY.

It is in 15/70 at the one here in Dallas, but I'm not sure about anywhere else.

As far as I know, the IMAX Palisades is film and ONLY film. No LieMAX there.

By the way, many will find this link handy for weeding out the real 70mm venues:

Avatar is available in both formats. What version you see will depend on what equipment your IMAX theater has.

You can always consult the map !

That map is WAY out of date. Try the one at LF Examiner instead.
