Can anyone help. I have a Pioneer CLD-504 that I use as a secondary player in my home/office.

I want to know what the PGM button does. When I hit the button, it goes to AO1-AO2 etc, etc.

Is this very similar to a memory button?

How do I make it work?

Thanks in advance.
Tom.

I know that player had some Karaoke functions...I wonder if it has to do with that?

PGM means program. You put in the chapter or track you want to play first, then second, etc.
