I saw the original V mini series when it first aired in the 80's and when I saw a DVD box set that said "The Complete Series" at Walmart today for $10.00, I bought it thinking it was the original series. When I opened the package at home, I noticed the outer cover said "The Space Invasion Continues" I was not aware the series continued after the original series ended. I know it is back on again at ABC when the network pissed off a lot of LOST fans with a clock on the bottom right of the screen during a recent episode of the very popular program promoting the new science fiction show the first night it aired. Is the DVD box set I bought today a continuation of the original V series and the series currently on at this time a continuation of DVD series I bought today?

Claude the new series is a modern version of the same story. Very good show, even with the whole clock fiasco.

I think they should keep flashing big red "4 8 15 16 23 42" on the bottom right hand corner for the duration of the show and see how long it lasts.

Kurt,

Is V now on television a mini series like the original was or a regular new ongoing television show like LOST and 24?
