I used to buy a lot of discs from Target but will never do anymore because of the way they treated me this morning. The problem started when they advertised in last Sunday's paper an exclusive Discovery Channel program DVD about the world coming to an end in 2012 with the two disc copy of 2012 on Blu-Ray. I asked about it and was told it was already included in the two disc package. It was not! All the case contained was two BD's and a DVD with the code to download the movie on to a computer or portable devise. After finding the bonus disc missing , I asked where it was and another store clerk informed me that the copies of the movie with the bonus disc did not come in. I told her that is fine because I can wait for it. She then tell me I cannot do that because I had already opened a copy of the three disc copy of 2012 and if I wanted the bonus disc, I have to pay for it again. After much unpleasant discussion, I told them to 'shove it' and left them with a opened copy of the BD and walked out of the store without buying a thing! If I caved in and bought the BD without the bonus content from Target, I would have paid about $24.50 for it with tax. Costco was about a block away and I bought exactly the same BD set for $20.45 with tax. When I stop to think about it, saving four dollars was much better than paying more for some stupid documentary I would have watched only once.
