AKA Who Finds A Friend Finds A Treasure

A later Hill/Spencer film but one of their better ones. Hill is being chased by gangsters in relation to a gambling debt. His uncle gives him a treasure map and he stows away on Spencer's yacht which is sailing around the world.

Needless to say they end up on a deserted island with a bunch of natives and a Japanese soldier who still thinks the war is going. The crooks turn up later as well as some other baddies.

LOts of funny moments and slapstick fighting in this film. Despite the unfortunate title and the rather silly plot the film works quite well.

Excellent cinematography and an excellent transfer to dvd make this film a pleasure to watch. The scene in the Japanese tank is a classic too as are the fight scenes with the baddies in leather who look like they have just walked out of a Village People convention.

Verdict 9/10

cheers Peter
