Unfortunately this isn't directly related to the re-release of the film version of The Passion of the Christ.

It appears as though the original release of the dvd didn't have any extras, not even any language options. Any posibility of a restamp of the dvd to possibly include the new language options and some extra content?

Are consumers also lilely to have the option of purchasing a pg13 version of the dvd as well? -Or will it be left to something such as the parental controls of the dvd- which would really damage the storyline of the movie.

Since the movie was filmed in historic languages and released with subtitles, I wonder what language options except for subtitles in different languages there could be?

Oh you can bet your bottom dollar that the new "recut" version (which is not rated but is PG-13-ish) will be DVDized after the theatrical dollars are scraped out of it.

The "special edition" with the extras will come out next year, I'll bet.

not to mention the the other endings for the movie... [Cool] what else could have happened?

I'm waiting for "P2: Judgement Day", then I'll buy both of them on DVD
