Oh my- That movie is greatness- it's been years since I've seen it, but I'll never look at cockroaches in the same light again~

For additional laughs one can check out the 1987 Japanese animated film that inspired it--Twilight of the Cockroaches.

TWILIGHT OF THE COCKROACHES - I have never been able to kill a cockroach since seeing that film.

True story - one night I started itching all over while sleeping. I thought I must be having a severe heart/circulation/diabetic episode. Nope - around 10-15 cockroaches were crawling all over me!

I love JOE'S APARTMENT. It certainly is the best singing cockroach movie of all time.

The musical numbers are done very well. My favorite is the opening number over the credits...nice shots of NYC and a great theme song.

It seems that it has gained cult status like Office Space, Rocky Horror Picture Show and others
