There seems to be this small problem with my Infocus LP530 video projector.

The projector has been very sparsely used. The lamp glows well. Current reading for the lamp is only 49 hrs against the 1400 hours it is supposed to last. The projector merely displays a blank signal and does not take any signal on its video port.

Also, none of the menu control buttons on the projector work. I do not have the remote for this unit.

Only the power button on the projector works. The menu buttons on the projector do not work.

Can somebody suggest a solution ?

Does it display anything on the screen, or is it totally black? Has it just stopped working, or has it not worked all along? Possibly the internal ribbon cable came loose.
