Alright, so it's a bit off topic, but the first season was released last fall on DVD with a notice that the second season would come in the Spring of '03. Now there doesn't seem to be a word about it. Anybody heard anything? ...from a confirmed L&A junkie!

Jeff, You have to get out of Clifton and travel into New York.

In the last three months I have run into Jerry Orbach twice on elevators, once in a restaurant and once crossing 57th St. and Fifth Avenue. Last time I saw him I asked him why he was following me. [Smile]

Funny you mention that, Bob. I love Jerry, but Sam Waterston is a frequent guest at my club on Long Island (very decent guy), and has a manhattan condo (paid for by Wolf Productions, of course) at a lower West Side building where one of my colleagues is on the board. Interesting; he applied for the unit in his own name, but when they demanded to see his financial statement and tax returns he withdrew and Wolf bought it. Nice, huh.

Jeff: How come I never get to work for those great companies.

Next time Sam wants a Martini have him call me.

Law and Order is by far my favorite show on the idiot box...ever since it was first on A & E way back when....

Waterston is on hell of an excellent actor...and yet one never hears any publicity about him... I wish that Waterston would do more with the History Channel like he did in the past.

Waterston's acting is so good, that I tend to wonder if the issues that he deals with on the show come from personal feelings and viewpoints? He would have been an excellent candidate for "Politically Incorrect"?

Will: I couldn't agree more. Basically, though, Sam is not a Hollywood type at all--quite suburban guy, no flashy wife, very normal seeming life. I've only met him twice and other than the famous face he totally blends into the crowd. Jerry Orbach, on the other hand, is a character, but a very decent one. My friend who delt with Sam on the condo board also runs into Jerry with his kids when they're filming, and on several occasions Jerry has bought the kids donuts. So anyhow, where's the rest of the episodes on DVD?
