I read alot of these DVD dirt sheets and this has been a hot topic as of late. It had been reported recently that some stars have received up to a 6 digit pay check for their contributions to DVD's. Knowing how Hollywood is about the all mighty $$$, it has been rumored that they may eliminate DVD extras or put it in the original contract for the stars to this material after doing principal photgraphy right away. Right now, from what I have read, it is all just rumor at this point.

There is other petitions as well concerning DVD's. One for Blockbuster to carry more widescreen titles and another aimed at Walmart.

My favorite sites to read about DVD's are... http://www.thedigitalbits.com/
