Summary: Provide customers with technical support and services; including but not limited to preventive maintenance, installation, site surveys, demand and emergency services specifically related to digital cinema equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

Performs maintenance on cinema projection equipment, digital signage, sound systems, servers, and power supplies, etc.
Provides demand service for customers; determines and executes a support plan.
Tests electronic assembly, components or parts by connecting to various equipment, such as; ohmmeter, voltmeter, ammeter, color meter, resistance bridge, oscilloscope, automatic or computerized test equipment.
Examines equipment and assemblies for defects and replaces defective components. Repairs equipment and performs field testing. Resolves firmware and software issues.
Directs investigation of customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, specifications, and delivered condition of products.
Records, analyzes, and inform appropriate personnel of production quality, and sales departments of status and disposition of customer complaints and claims utilizing written and electronic reporting.
Installs electronic or digital equipment and tests
Records activities in Field Point daily, including but not limited to work description, expenses, hours, labor and travel.
This position requires in and out of market travel up to 40% of the time; this position also requires the ability to work weekends, holidays and on-call for a large market.

Education, Experience and Competencies Required:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with electronics related to the Pro-Av market.
Familiarity with computer and networking concepts and architecture.
Experience with digital cinema equipment is preferred.
Must be comfortable working in a high stress, fast paced environment with shifting priorities.
Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Proficient with MS Office.
Exceptional customer service skills required.
This position requires a valid, state issued drivers license.
This position requires the ability to stand, sit, squat and bend for a period of time.
