Ok bit of a long shot, but here goes, I know there are quite a few film-tech readers in New Zealand.

Is there anyone in New Zealand looking for a projectionist?

I have previously ran Kalee 37 projectors and carbon arcs for nearly 4 years, and xenons for a few months. I've spent the last 9 months employed as a computer technician, but gave it up to get back into film. But have been unable to find any jobs in Christchurch.

I haven't worked with platters, but I would love to learn - just let me have a try.

So if you have a position that needs filling, now or in the future, or know of anyone else who does, I'd love to hear from you.
