The Celebration! IMAX Theatre in Lansing, Michigan, is looking for full-time and part-time projectionists to join our team assiting the Booth Director in operating our IMAX projection booth. This 350-seat state-of-the-art IMAX Theater will open in November 2003. The theater will be equipped with Twin IMAX SR-3D projectors, QTRU reel unit, and the latest IMAX sound system. This SR 3-D system will be converted to the new IMAX MPX system in early 2004.

The IMAX projectionist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: quality film presentation, day-to-day operation and maintenance of the projection and sound systems, and providing support for events held in the theater. This is an hourly position with a flexible schedule.

Candidates should have impressive technical and verbal skills as well as computer and audio/visual equipment experience. Experience as a projectionist in a commercial theatre environment is a plus.
